LEVEL SWITCHES AND LEVEL SENSORS
Level switches and level probes are essential devices for monitoring and controlling the level of liquids in tanks, cisterns and industrial plants. These instruments ensure optimal management of resources by preventing overfilling, shortages or critical changes in fluid level (reserve level, overflow or liquid quantity etc.). Mounting systems can be vertical or horizontal (mounting from inside or outside the tank), threaded or flanged. While level switches emit an on/off signal (NO or NC) when the float passes over the point where the electrical contact is inserted (1 2 or more switching points), level probes emit a continuous signal to transmit the level. The most commonly used signals are 4-20 mA and 0-10 V.
