FLOW METERS AND FLOW SWITCHES

Flow switches and flow meters are essential instruments for controlling the flow of liquids and gases in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Flow meters are ideal for measuring and displaying the instantaneous flow rate of a continuous flow and are normally used to control the passage of a liquid or gas in a circuit. They are made with a measuring tube on which the graduated scale is silk-screen-printed, a float farting inside and upper and lower threaded or flanged connections. Flow switches signal through an electrical contact when the flow exceeds or falls below a preset threshold via a graduated scale.

Flowmeters also called Asameters are instantaneous flow meters suitable for measuring low, medium and high flow rates of any type of fluid in a pipeline. They usually consist of a calibrated tube with a graduated scale incised, enclosed at the ends by two pipe connection plugs. Inside the tube there is a float that will be positioned inside the graduated tube and will allow the reading of the instantaneous flow rate. The flow switch is a safety device. Actuates an electrical switch Normally Open, Normally Closed or Changeover SPDT when a certain flow rate is reached.

The propeller flow indicators are suitable for the passage of water, oil, gasoline, diesel and other liquids, excluding corrosive liquids. The flowmeters type AM are suitable for measuring small fluid flow rates. They are manufactured in acrylic material with the conical measuring hole obtained directly in the body of the measuring device. The flowmeter is equipped with needle valve for adjusting and dosing the fluid to the required value. It is produced with angle, lateral or frontal connections. It is particularly useful in gas therapy, purgation, analyses and level measuring. Maximum working pressure: 10 bar, accurancy : ±5%.

Flowmeters Type R

The flowmeters of the "R" series are designed for medium flow rates, made of Plexiglas with a calibrated conical bore formed directly in the structure. Axial or square, flanged or threaded connections are available on request. The accuracy of the instrument is: ± 5% fs. The maximum pressure of use is 10 bar. On request they can be made for PN 16, PN 25, PN 40.

Paddle Flow switches UR1G

Compact paddle flow switches. They are components used in most industrial applications, for on / off control of gas and liquid flow rates. They can be mounted directly on the pipes being equipped with a T-fitting included. The electrical contact is separated from the mechanical part of the instrument and can be replaced without removing the flow switch from the hydraulic circuit.
